As soon as I saw the masking paper in the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue, I wanted to try making my own washi tape. Now, I totally missed it in the catalogue, and in the online shop, but happened to see a video when I was planning my launch.
The casual look of the torn paper pairs perfectly with this die cut page from the He’s The Man suite, and a fussy cut car just adds a little something to the top.

Accidental discoveries are the best. This technique was the result of laziness. I I was using the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set this weekend, and instead of taking the Simple Shamy the Stampin’ Scrub out and using that, I grabbed a sponge and some water and just rubbed the ink off….
