Do you love a sale? I love scoring a good deal, especially when it’s something I really love. The January to June mini catalogue will be retiring at the end of the month, and you can save up to 50% on all kinds of products.
Here’s a peek at my top 10 favourite retiring items… they’ll be featured in tutorials this week, so stay tuned! Here they are, in no particular order…
Abstract Beauty DSP
This paper is absolutely stunning. 4×6″, it’s the perfect size for a card front layer, and the fun, bright colours make it super easy to create a card for just about any occasion. Added shimmer and shine catch the light in just the right way for a celebration.
Flowering Rain Boots bundle
This is the perfect for the gardener in your life. Either stamp to create your card, or stamp and then die cut. Add a bit of Wink of Stella for some shimmer and shine, and you’ve got the perfect pair of rubber boots. This set hasn’t seen much action in my craft room, but that will change.
Mischievous Mice
This super cute host set can be yours if you place an order of $200+. It’s perfect for a birthday, a quick note, and more. Lots of fun to colour, you can’t ask for anything more! This one is staying in my stash for years to come.
Easter Friends
There’s nothing cuter than bunnies, chicks, and ducklings. Not only adorable for Easter, you can easily pull this set out for baby cards, too. Add a little bit of colouring if you want, or, keep it simple by stamping on coloured cardstock. You can add a sentiment from another set if you wish, and open up even more possibilities for this set.
Sweet Conversations bundle
The stamp set and dies are available as a bundle, but again, it’s cheaper to purchase them separately right now than as a bundle. The lines and circle stamps make a fun background for all kinds of cards, and the dies are quick and easy to use in the standard, or mini embossing machine.
Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper
I flew through this paper pack. Bright colours make it ideal for birthday cards, a pick me up, or a cute anniversary card. The heart patterns are big enough for fussy cutting, too! If this isn’t in your stash, it really should be.
Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper
The bold bright patterns for this paper remind me of a tropical vacation, and the leaves are big enough for fussy cutting. Big patterns on one side and more subtle patterns on the other make coordinating your papers a snap, too.
Resin Stars
From Stampin’ Up!’s Hey Sports Fan bundle, these stars add a fun element to any card. These bright colours could be used to add a pop of colour to any project- or, hold on to them until you’re ready to make your holiday cards, and these could be used as a decoration on the top of a tree, or as an element to spruce up any holiday message.
Butterflies & Flowers layering masks
These masks are so much fun to use. Pair them with embossing paste for added dimensions on your cards, or use a sponge dauber or blending brush to ink them up for a fun background. You can also add ink to the paper, and then place the mask over the paper, and stamp to achieve a totally unique look to your project.
