Every week, I take inspiration from the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue and put my own spin on the card. This week, it came from Page 90.
It’s so much fun to flip through the pages of the catalogue, and find a design that sparks the creativity. I love that you can use a colour, stamp set, layout, or sentiment as your jumping off point, and take the original artist’s design and put your own heart and soul into it. CASEing the designs (copy and selectively edit) offers endless possibility.
With this card, I used the designer series paper used on other cards on the same page, and slightly roughed up the edges like the sample card. The sentiment layout is similar, but I chose to use a larger piece of the reverse side of the paper for the background, and used a different sentiment set. This card would make a lovely wedding card, or even a housewarming.
