This week, we’re going back to simple for the sketch. Layers can add so much interest to a card, but they don’t have to be hard.
Layer patterned paper on solid, stamp your own design, dry or heat emboss one of the layers. The possibilities are endless.
My friend Mary Louise from East Coast Stamping with Mary Louise and I take the inspiration from the sketch, but often, we come up with different takes on the sketch. The beauty of sketches is that you can take elements of it and use them, change it up, mix up the orientation, change the shapes, and whatever else you desire.
You can take the same basic sketch, too, and use it for several cards. Sketch inspiration is perfect to get you out of a creative rut, and help you use what is in your stash, too!
