I really enjoy creating interactive cards, or cards with a surprise element. The beauty of this card is that it doesn’t need a belly band to keep it closed, and you can create several in one sitting.
This card also uses one of my favourite stamp sets from the June to December mini catalogue- Jingle Jingle Jingle. I just about passed it by, but the versatility of the set made me so glad I picked it out. Click here for the supply list.
Jingle Jingle Jingle has the block letters you can use alone, or, add the patterned word elements. I love colouring, especially with the Stampin’ Blends, so I chose the block letters and a little bit of bling using Wink of Stella.
To create the pop up piece, take a square of cardstock (I used 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and scored vertically, horizontally, and one diagonally.
