Have you ever looked at a piece of patterned paper and wondered how the heck to use it? Check out this Rock & Roll fun fold.
That’s exactly what I thought when I opened the Rock & Roll paper pack from the January-April 2024 mini catalogue. But then, my friend Tamara used it on a card, and it sparked an idea.
I knew I wanted to fussy cut the guitar, and I knew it had to be red (with Wink of Stella, of course!) and it had to be a fun fold for What’s the Fold…
Then inspiration struck. Once in a while, you need a card with a little bit more room for a message, or multiple signatures. (Anyone else notice that we have pretty much stopped saying letter, and now refer to it as a message?). This double card does just that.
The Sweet Sorbet outer card is 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4. The Basic White inside card is 8″ x 5 1/4″ scored at 4″. The circle is punched out, and then adhered to the Basic White layer, and the hexagon punch kind of reminds me of a guitar pick. Check out the video to see how the card comes together:
