Countryside Easter card

Thanks for hopping by! If you’re visiting through the Sweethearts Global blog hop, welcome! I am so excited to share this super cute Easter card.

I have been playing a little bit with the Easter Bunny stamp set, and bunny punch. Today, I decided to pair it with the Countryside dies for a little added pop of colour for this Easter card.

Lemon Lolly cardstock, Lighter Than Air DSP and a little bit of Basic White went into this card. The base is a standard 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece scored at 4 1/4″. The Lemon Lolly layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″ and a scrap piece for die cutting. The DSP is cut 1/8″ smaller than the Lemon Lolly Layer- 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.

Die cut the Lemon Lolly layer- adhere the DSP to the card front, and then pop the layer onto dimensionals and place on top of the DSP.

Stamp, punch, and colour the bunny with Stampin’ Blends (light and dark Crumb Cake used here). Add a little tape to the bunny’s butt, and add a dimensional to the head. Click here for a short video showing the steps.

Stamp the sentiment on the yellow banner. Cut the smaller banners in half, and attach three to one side. Add gems- Purple Shimmer Gems used here, and attach the sentiment to the DSP layer with dimensionals.

Hands up if you have a good size stash of patterned paper. I don’t think I have met a papercrafter who doesn’t. One of my passions is helping people use the supplies they have to make cards they love to give. Scrap-busting is just one of the ways to do that- check out my Scrap Attack playlist on YouTube!

I’ve also got a value-packed retreat coming up this month that’ll help you bust through your stash.

Check out Paperpalooza– the online stash-busting retreat! You’ll get access to 15 videos, PDFs, and a ton of ideas to help you bash through your stash.

Happy crafting!
